Training is a cornerstone of a quality ADR practice.
Whether you're mediating cases referred by the court or serving as a private arbitrator, proper training is essential. This includes the training necessary to serve as a neutral as well as the ongoing education required to maintain a strong practice.
There are many opportunities to begin training in ADR and to further your skills and knowledge. The chart below lists some of these opportunities, including Part 146 approved trainings and courses.
Additional training and events may be listed with the New York State Dispute Resolution Association and with the ADR Inclusion Network.
