The Supreme Court is a trial court of unlimited, original jurisdiction. In Tioga County, its primary function is to handle civil cases. Supreme Court Justice Oliver N. Blaise, III and Justice Cheryl Insinga, of Broome County, are assigned to handle all of the civil cases filed in Tioga County.
