Hon. D. Christian Fischer is the Village Justice for the Village of Cazenovia and a Town Justice for the Town of Cazenovia in Madison County. He is the President of the Madison County Magistrates and Court Clerks Association.
Judge Fischer received a Bachelor of Arts from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law.
He began his career in private practice over 30 years ago and is currently the managing partner at Alario & Fischer, P.C. His practice focuses on construction law and litigation, and commercial real estate transactions. He is admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland. He is chairman elect of the Associated General Contractors National Labor and Employment Law Counsel, and regularly lectures on construction-related topics.
Judge Fischer was appointed by Judge Joseph A. Zayas to the Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics in 2024.
