Visit one of the locations below for free Wi-Fi, computer, scanning and telephone access to complete and file court papers or appear for virtual hearings. Visitors may also receive technical support and limited procedural and legal guidance from pro bono attorneys and law students, during limited hours.

Filing a Family Court Petition: To file Nassau County Family Court petitions, you may email: (1) a Nassau County Family Court Information Sheet; (2) the completed petition; and (3) any required supporting documents to NASFamily@nycourts.gov. First complete fillable forms on computer, then save document to computer desktop.  Next, open your email account from new tab in web browser.  Create email, attach documents and send email to above address.

    • Family Law Online Navigator - This app allows users to build  a tailored report on their particular family law concern. It's QUICK, ANONYMOUS, & FREE - great way to start addressing your family law issue. 
  • Ask a Law Librarian - The Ask a Law Librarian service is a remote legal service open to the general public. It is staffed by NYS Court System law library personnel from around the state and is intended to answer legal reference questions posed by the public. Law Librarians can provide assistance with locating legal information but  cannot provide legal advice.
