Michael J. Telfer is a Senior Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York’s (LASNNY) Disability Advocacy Project. Previously, he was an Associate Attorney with Olinsky Law Group. He represents clients who have been denied Social Security disability benefits in reconsideration and before OHO, the Appeals Council, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. He has also drafted briefs for clients appealing the denial of Social Security disability benefits in multiple federal district courts across the country as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is the co-chair of LASNNY's Technology Committee. He is a graduate of the University at Albany and Albany Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York State and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
