Nadine E. Patterson is the Deputy Executive Director – Civil Practice of The Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Inc. and has been in that position since November of 2021. She is responsible for grant management and on-site supervision of the Bureau’s Civil Legal Services Unit and Attorneys for Children Unit.
Nadine graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She received her juris doctorate in June 2003, and was admitted to the bar in February 2004. She entered private practice at the law firm of Donald H. Lischer, P.C., concentrating on real estate, bankruptcy and estate practice. Nadine left private practice to join the Bureau as a staff attorney in August 2008. She was promoted to Managing Attorney in the Civil Legal Services, then Chief Attorney of the Civil Legal Services Unit before her appointment in 2021 as Deputy Executive Director – Civil Practice.
