At Pro Bono Net, Jeanne helps drive innovation and the adoption of technology tools that connect people with volunteer lawyers and legal help information. She is a frequent presenter at national conferences and trainings, focusing on topics such as pro bono, technology's impact in expanding access to justice, and disaster response and recovery. Jeanne initially joined Pro Bono Net as a Disaster Response Legal Fellow, where she spearheaded initiatives to assist disaster survivors and support attorneys providing legal services to affected communities. Prior to her work with Pro Bono Net, Jeanne provided free legal representation and employment discrimination litigation for low‐income LGBT individuals in Puerto Rico. As the volunteer Vice‐Director of the American Bar Association's Disaster Legal Services Program, Jeanne actively contributes to the coordination of immediate and free temporary legal assistance to disaster survivors across the nation. In recognition of her accomplishments, she received the "Top 40 ‐ On the Rise Young Lawyers" award from the American Bar Association in 2021. Additionally, Jeanne serves as a member of the Pro Bono & Legal Services Committee at the New York City Bar Association. She is bilingual and holds licenses to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and New Jersey.
