Glenn Baum, Data & Technology Training Manager, Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Inc.

Glenn Baum started his career with the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo as an investigator/child advocate in the Attorneys for Children unit. While holding this position he continued his education at Houghton College earning a Bachelors of Science in Business Management with a concentration in computer science. In 2017 he transitioned into his current position as Data & Technology Training Manager, where he is leading the move towards a digital office. Glenn led the Bureau through the implementation of LegalServer and continues as the administrator of the database. He also manages Laserfiche, the Bureau’s document management program where he continues to push the office towards a paperless world. He works with each practice area to capture data and develop necessary reports using that data both to report to funders and manage the operations within the Bureau. Glenn is excited to see how data can be used to drive change within the organization, in the court system and in the community where we live. When not wrangling data, Glenn can be found delivering rocks down the ice at the Buffalo Curling Club where he has been a member since the club returned to Buffalo in 2014. Good curling all!
