Rochelle Klempner, Assistant Deputy Counsel, Office of Court Administration

Rochelle Klempner, sitting at her desk Rochelle Klempner has been with the New York State Unified Court System since 1991 and has worked as a court attorney in Civil, Criminal and Supreme Court; as a city-wide court administrator in the NYC Civil Court; as the Chief Counsel of the NYS Courts Access to Justice Program; and as an attorney-technologist in the Division of Technology. She currently serves as Counsel to the Judicial Institute on Professionalism in the Law, and Chair of the court system’s Translation Committee.

Most notably, Rochelle also acts as staff counsel to the New York State Permanent Commission on Access to Justice. As part of her work with the Permanent Commission, Rochelle is the staff liaison to the Technology Working Group, made up of volunteers from around the state who appreciate the value of legal aid tech and want to foster its development and educate the civil legal services community on the ways that technology can improve the delivery of legal services and the efficiency of operations. Rochelle feels fortunate to work with the dedicated and knowledgeable members of the Technology Working Group.
