Adrián Palma, Pro Bono Manager at Microsoft Corporation

Adrián Palma is the Pro Bono Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation, where he leverages AI and Microsoft technology to create digital tools that improve program efficiency, increase volunteer engagement, and drive greater impact for pro bono clients. He has experience coordinating and innovating pro bono programs, having worked as the Senior Pro Bono Coordinator of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP before joining Microsoft.

Adrián is also a passionate advocate for immigrant rights and a proud DACA-recipient. He has used his lived experience to design and implement virtual clinic solutions that enabled hundreds of undocumented youth to apply for DACA with the help of pro bono volunteers and smartphones in 2020. Adrián continues to use his experience working at the intersection of technology and pro bono to build digital tools that address America’s justice crisis.

Adrián was born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, and grew up in El Paso, TX. He is a member of the Legal Services Corporation’s Emerging Leaders Council, a graduate from Cornell University with Magna Cum Laude honors in Asian Studies, and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Mandarin Chinese. Adrián lives in Washington, D.C. with his beautiful Labrador, Gracie.
