The Virtual Appearance Livestream Request Dashboard shows the frequency of requests made by the public to view virtual appearances. Requests are made through a portal to view appearances that have already been scheduled for civil cases (local or supreme). The requestor provides the court, date, and a case identifier for the requested appearance that the court then reviews and will either provide a livestream link or deny the request, providing a reason for the denial. Possible denial reasons include:
- This request was not for a matter in this Court.
- The caption/index number of the request is either incomplete or missing.
- There is no court appearance for this case on the requested date.
- Appearance is not a virtual appearance. You must come to the courthouse to view the case.
- Request not related to a virtual appearance.
- The requestor is listed as a party in this action. Parties must contact the Court Clerk or their attorney.
- Proceeding is sealed and cannot be streamed.
- The matter is scheduled for a conference distinct from any proceeding.
