Hon. Robert E. Antonacci, II

Judge photoThe Honorable Robert E. Antonacci II obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College in 1987 and graduated cum laude from Syracuse University School of Law in 1993. In 1993, he was admitted to the NYS Fourth Department and the United States District Court, Northern District of New York. Following law school, Judge Antonacci was an Adjunct Law Professor at Le Moyne College from 2000-2006. He was a Certified Public Accountant from 1990-2020. While in private practice, he also served as the Town of Salina Zoning Board Attorney from 2004-2005; Budget Officer in 2006; and Town Comptroller in 2007. He was first elected as the Onondaga County Comptroller in 2007 and was subsequently reelected in 2011 and 2015, serving until 2018. In 2018 he ran for and was successful in becoming the New York State Senator for the 50th Senate District. Justice Antonacci was elected to the New York State Supreme Court in 2020 and presides over civil cases involving medical malpractice, foreclosure, commercial matters, tax certioraris, matrimonial matters and Mental Hygiene Law Article 10 confinements.

In July of 2023 Justice Antonacci was assigned as one of the two Justices to the New York Commercial Division for Onondaga County and as the Justice responsible for all of the tax certiorari cases for Onondaga County.

Justice Antonacci has been involved in his community as a High School Basketball Official, IAABO Board 38, for 33 years. Justice Antonacci lives in the Town of Onondaga with his wife, Michele, and two children, Robert III and Jacqueline.
