If you chose NYC (All Boroughs), JD 9 & JD 10 and scored a 85 or above or if you chose JD 3-8 and scored an 70 or above, you should start to prepare for the Physical Ability test. The test is physically demanding and candidates must train to be successful. For more information on how to prepare visit Physical Ability Test.
Candidates who pass the Physical Ability Test will be scheduled for a Background Investigation interview. Visit Background Investigation for a list of documents needed to initiate the investigation. Note: Secure documents as soon as possible. Social Security print out: Obtain in person as ordering online will delay your investigation.
Phase I of the screening process will be held as follows:

For Candidates with a Location Preference of NYC (All Boroughs), JD 9 & JD 10 at a NYC location: October 10, 2023-October 13, 2023, October 16, 2023-October 20, 2023 and October 23, 2023.
