Mission Statement
The Office of Public Information works to provide information about the New York State Unified Court System to both internal and external audiences, principally members of the press. The Office is responsible for preparing and distributing press releases and media advisories concerning NYS UCS events, initiatives, judicial appointments and other newsworthy announcements to local and statewide media outlets. Press Office staff also facilitates and oversees court system press conferences as well as other media events. In addition, it maintains the court system's social media accounts.
