Law School Conference 2021

The Permanent Commission on Access to Justice, together with Columbia Law School, held the 2021 Annual Law School Conference on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 9:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. The Conference theme was: Fighting Systemic Racism: Law School and Community Partnerships. Deborah Archer (Professor, NYU School of Law and President, ACLU) presented the keynote, which was followed by a plenary and workshop sessions.

This virtual conference brought together representatives from New York’s law schools, civil legal services organizations, the courts, community organizations and other partners to work together on addressing racial inequities impacting communities. 

The views expressed by the Conference speakers and participants reflect their personal views and not necessarily the views of the NYS Permanent Commission on Access to Justice or the NYS Unified Court System.
