Naturalization Records

The County Clerk maintains naturalization records for the years 1914 through 1952. These records include the following: certificate of arrival, declaration of intention and petitions. A Certification certificate of these records is available for a fee of $10.00, payable to the Bronx County Clerk in cash, certified check or U.S. postal money orders.

A search of these records may be done by mail or in person.

If you do a search in person, the only fee you pay for is the copying fee of $.25 per page for the use of public copying machines. Should you require a Certification certificate an additional fee of $10.00 is required.

To conduct a search by mail, the fee for the search is $10.00, and the fee for the certified copy is $10.00, plus $.65 per page. This fee is payable to the Bronx County Clerk by Money order or certified check or NYS Attorney’s Check.
